Braeden Paul has loved the sounds of Traditional Bluegrass music for as long as he can remember. As a young boy he heard recordings of many of the music’s pioneers such as Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Flatt & Scruggs, The Stanley Brothers & Melvin Goins just to name a few. After playing mandolin & singing harmony with multiple different bands, Braeden decided to step out on his own and return to his true musical roots. Named after Bill Monroe’s classic instrumental, Braeden Paul & Wheel Hoss is able to pay tribute to the forefathers & legends of bluegrass music while putting their own stamp on it with original songs in the traditional bluegrass style. The group has won audiences over at different venues and events such as Opening Bell Coffee in Dallas, TX and the Paluxy River Bluegrass Association’s monthly show at Oakdale Park in Glen Rose, TX. Braeden and the band have also been featured in both The Bluegrass Standard and Plano Magazine. The group’s biggest hope is that their music will not only be enjoyed by all who listen, but will cause people to go back and learn about some of the legends that they are honoring through their music.
